What a Walkers Week – New Walking Groups Underway

Walkers Week has just ended and what a week it's been!

Over sixty new walkers came to try walks with us in what has been typical April showers weather...in May.

Great numbers have shown up for walks at lunchtime and evenings on Tuesday and Thursday at the Race Course and Royal Oak in Prestbury.

Then over 25 walkers showed up at the Green Dragon Inn near Cowley Manor for a 7.5k walk through the countryside in a mix of light drissle and warm conditions.

Sunday's walk saw around thirteen new walkers take on the warm but wet walk from the pump room in Pittville park.

Feedback has been very positive and all indications are that we'll at least double the size of our young walking community (new and young at heart) in the next 3 weeks.

Check out just a few of the pics taken in Walkers Week below.
